After cross-functional meetings and discussions, we identified the need to develop a promotion module within the software. This module would empower store operators to easily and intelligently create and manage promotions, while providing valuable insights.

User Research & Mental Model
To kick off the project, we conducted interviews with team members responsible for promotion planning. The goal was to gain a deep understanding of their processes and motivations, constructing the user's mental model as a foundation for our design decisions. Simultaneously, we conducted secondary research to supplement our insights.

Building upon our research, we divided the substantial module into distinct topics such as Calendar, Timeline, List, Creation, and Detail Page. The design team collaborated on numerous wireframes, bringing forth innovative ideas and concepts.

Selecting the most promising ideas from our wireframes, we transferred them to Adobe XD (with consideration for using Figma in future projects). With a collection of solid mockups, we sought validation and feedback from our interviewees in the design research phase.
